What do our clients say?
"I just wanted to express our thanks for the outstanding job that you have done since August of 2006. We knew that we had problems but did not realize the depth and severity of the exposure we had with our internet connections, virus protection, spyware, security settings and user allowed activities with each of our computers connected to our network. As you can see by the example above, Tech Options by GhostNet, Inc. can meet or exceed all standards set forth by General Motors in this area and the others in the memorandum. You can read the entire memorandum by clicking here: Generation 7.3 memorandum.
According to GM DEALER NETWORK STANDARDS listed in GENERATION 7.2 dated 4/16/2007, GM has adopted a set of information technology infrastructure standards for the Dealer internal network environment in accordance with Article 5.6 of the Dealer Sales and Service Agreement. These Standards are designed to ensure a seamless and reliable conduit for the GM Corporation to Dealer communication channel. The GM Dealer infrastructure standards are organized with 2 criteria divisions: “Minimum” and “Recommended.” The “Minimum” criteria are just that, the MINIMUM standard acceptable systems infrastructure for conducting business with GM. With the continuous growth of technology and hence the continuing evolution of these GM Dealer standards, it is important to maximize your I.T. investment. With that in mind the “Recommended” heading represents what should be procured at this time to maximize the lifecycle of the investment.
Important: PCs that do not meet the specifications outlined in this document are considered “Non-Supported Hardware.” As a result the Techline Customer Support Center (TCSC) and the Regional Techline Field Consultants will be unable to provide troubleshooting support for applications. Ensure the PC meets these specifications before
Purchase. It is required to have 1 PC for every 2 technicians working in your service area.**
